Spring semester at NLC is well underway; only six weeks remain until Summer Term. That means it’s Cherry Blossom time!
Campus visitors had the joy of watching the cherry blossoms reach their peak on March 20, one of the earliest “peak bloom dates” since 1992.
To share this beautiful sight with the rest of NLC’s community, Jeff Tillery, our resident photographer and IATSE member, shot a few pics.
Most of the cherry blossoms surround the National Workers’ Memorial, a quiet spot on campus where visitors pause and remember the lives of fallen brothers and sisters. You may purchase a brick as a permanent remembrance here. The annual Workers’ Memorial Day Ceremony will be held on campus on Friday, April 27, 2012.
