Of running his first marathon for charity, Richard Suarez said he “ran, walked and crawled my way to the finish line.” That same determination helped the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers representative complete his Bachelor’s Degree in just 21 months.
The 2010 National Labor College graduate is now an instructor at the renowned William W. Winpisinger Education & Technology Center.
Without a degree, Richard would not have been offered the position as an instructor at a premier labor institution like the Winpisinger center. And without the NLC, he says that he would not have been able to finish his degree. Continue reading
